Introducing Robbie

Robbie started life in California, moving to Paris (France) where he began playing guitar at the age of 9.

After the young guitarist developed musical interests of Blues, Jazz and Rock, he took up formal tuition with a local French mentor.

He moved to England in 2011 to study at the Academy of Contemporary Music wherein 2015 he achieved his bachelor of music with a first class honours degree.

His tutors at the Academy took him on a long and thorough journey through the disciplines of Guitar Performance & Music Theory. Robbie has now graduated from doing his Master's degree at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama specialising in Jazz guitar and studying with some of the world's finest musicians and educators. After finishing his Master's at the Guildhall he was honoured with a fellowship from the school.

Robbie has played live with a number of bands across multiple genres as well as doing intensive studio work both for his own material and for other musicians.

Robbie has spent the last few years performing at some of London’s finest venues and has enjoyed working in Jazz function bands, as a solo cocktail guitarist and in musical theatre pit bands. He was also the guitarist/musical director for an orchestra on board a luxury cruise liner and most recently finished a tour of a musical theatre production of 'Evita' by Andrew Lloyd Webber. He was also the guitarist for the West End show 'The Wedding Singer' playing at Wembley Park Theatre (The Troubadour) and was recently involved with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra for the 'Best of the West End' live performance at the Royal Albert Hall. Robbie has already established himself as a sought after guitarist and in addition, has been enjoying teaching music and sharing his insight of the guitar to a few private students.

His love and dedication for the guitar, live or in the studio, for any kind of project drives him every day to get involved with musicians. Amongst his fellow musicians and professors, Robbie is renowned for his reliability, professionalism and skill.

Robbie is passionate about all genres of music and becoming the best he can be as a guitarist/musician. With a high level of stylistic awareness he is open to performing any genre of music: from Funk to Folk, from Rock to Jazz. Robbie has gained experience working in both live and recording sessions and understands the requirements for each role. Whether the gig is to play exactly like a track or to write a creative original guitar part/solo for a piece, Robbie can adapt effortlessly to the role required and has been noticed as 'safe hands' for getting the job done.
